There are now well over one hundred Pete Maravich videos on Youtube. New compilations from every aspect of his career are posted every week. Of course a lot of the same clips get recycled.
In my next post I will count down the Top 10. But I'm going to begin with #1.

It contains excellent music (except the Creed), pacing, and quality of the clips. It has a running time of over 6 minutes (long in the YouTube world) but maintains optimum interest all the way. In a word: Thrilling.

My First Post: Maravich Celtics #44
The idea of this blog is to add my two cents to the world of Pistol Pete Maravich. I have read every book about him and continue to find new and useful info for future scholars.This is my first attempt at blogging and I am looking forward to your eedback.
Here's a a rare photo of Pete (as a Celtic) taken April 9, 1980. This is from the playoffs (Game 1) against the Houston Rockets. Pete had 10 points in a 119-101 victory.
Even though he had blown out his knee three years earlier - he could obviously still get nice lift on his jumper (note NBA Rookie-of the-Year Larry Bird in the foreground)
This was Pete Maravich's first visit to the playoffs since 1973.
